Rosemary Radar (7/8/19)

Only Nintendo can get us to play a god damn mobile game.

The fourth of July is a thing of the past as far as 2019 is concerned and you know what that means - the next Holiday that I can think of is Labor Day which is the first sign of Fall. All the best things are happening, guys.

Also worth noting that I'm happy no big movies are coming out this week (I'm not trying to see Stuber, sorry) because I still haven't had the chance to see Midsommar so maybe I can make that happen sometime before Lion King. And then Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Man, it's hard out there.

• . Pet Semetary is coming to DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K tomorrow! Which is good because that movie came out way too close to a bunch of other movies and completely ruined any hype it had - which sucks because I heard it was actually good!

• . Aziz Ansari's new Spike Jones directed standup special will be on Netflix on Tuesday and that's probably what I'm most excited for this week. He's far and away one of my favorite comedians and I really can't wait to see what he's been cooking up since his last special.

• . Dr. Mario World lands on mobile devices on Wednesday and that's number two for real. Nintendo is the only company that can publish a mobile game that I actually want to play - Super Mario Run, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - I'll even give them a little bit of credit for Pokemon Go. But this one should be fun. I hope other people play so we can compare some high scores and shit.

• . SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout airs Friday on Nickelodeon and that should be fun - I haven't watched many new episodes of the show but the classics will always be top-tier animated comedy.

This is another one of those weeks where I don't see a single big music release happening and that makes me wonder if there's something we don't know - surprise drop from Kanye? Yonce? Has Chance picked this week for his debut album? Only time will tell.
