Xbox E3 2019 Announcements

Cyberpunk! Halo Infinite! And a bunch of other stuff without gameplay!

Microsoft held it’s 2019 Xbox Briefing yesterday in order to showcase everything that’s going to be coming to the Xbox as well as what the future of the brand looks like in regards to cloud gaming and its next generation console. Below is everything that was seen during their showing.


  • The Outer Worlds will be released on October 25th and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • Bleeding Edge, a new game from developer, Ninja Theory, was announced as an Xbox exclusive.

  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps will launch on the Xbox One on February 11th, 2020 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • Minecraft Dungeons, a top down co-op Minecraft title, will be released in Spring 2020 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • A new trailer for Star Wars: Jedi Fallen order was shown

  • Blair Witch, a new action horror game, will be released on August 30th and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • A new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 was shown and it was revealed that Keanu Reaves will be featured in the game. He then showed up on stage to reveal that the game will launch on April 16th, 2020.

  • Spiritfarer, a new 2D game was announced and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • A new trailer for Battletoads was shown and the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • A trailer for a new hand drawn game called RPG Time: The Legend of Wright was shown and the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass when it launches in 2020.

  • A reel of indie games was shown announcing new and previously announced titles being released on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • Batman: Arkham Knight, Metro Exodus, Hollow Knight and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection are available on Xbox Game Pass starting today.

  • Xbox Game Pass for PC begins in open beta starting today and costs $9.99 per month.

  • The previously announced Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is available now for $14.99 per month and you can sign up today to get the first month for $1.

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator was announced and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • Age of Empire II: Definitive Edition was announced and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • Wasteland 3 was announced and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • Developer, Double Fine Productions, was announced as the latest accusation to the Xbox first party lineup and a new trailer for Psychonauts 2 was shown which will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

  • LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was announced and will be released sometime in 2020.

  • A trailer for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot was shown and the game will be released in 2020.

  • A trailer for a new game called 12 Minutes was revealed and the game is coming soon.

  • A trailer for Way to the Woods was shown and the game will be coming in 2020.

  • Gears 5 was shown and it was announced that the game will be released on September 10th of this year - the ultimate edition will allow you to play 4 days early, as well as being a member of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. A tech test will be available on July 17th and a test for the Horde mode will be available on August 19th. A 3 player co-op experience called “Escape” was also shown and the Terminator was announced as a pre-order exclusive.

  • A new Xbox Elite Controller was announced with brand new features and a rechargeable dock and it’s available for pre-order now.

  • A new trailer for Dying Light 2 was shown - the game will be available in Spring 2020.

  • LEGO: Speed Champion, DLC for Forza Horizon 4 was announced and will be available on June 13th.

  • Gears Pop, the previously announced mobile game, is available to pre-register on iOS and Android now.

  • An expansion for State of Decay 2 in which you can take two different paths, called Heartland, is available on Xbox Game Pass today.

  • Phantasy Star Online 2, a free to play title, was announced for the Xbox One and is coming in Spring 2020.

  • Crossfire X was announced for the Xbox One and will be released in 2020.

  • Tales of Arise, a new game from Bandai Namco was announced and will be released in 2020.

  • Borderlands: Handsome Collection is getting DLC to set the stage for Borderlands 3 and it’s available right now.

  • FromSoftware and Bandai Namco announced the new George RR Martin game called Elden Ring.

  • Console Streaming from your Xbox One to mobile devices will be available in a preview format the October. This will allow you to stream your entire Xbox One library and Xbox Game Pass library anywhere.

  • Project Scarlett will be released Holiday 2020 and will feature 120 FPS, 8K capability a SSD and more.

  • Halo Infinite was announced as a console launch title for Holiday 2020 and a new trailer for the game was shown featuring the return of Master Chief.
