Randomly on a Tuesday.
Mark Cerny sat down with Wired to give them and now us the very first details of the unnamed next generation PlayStation console which we can assume will be called the PS5. It was revealed that the console is not going to be released this year and will contain a physical drive so the idea of an all digital console is not here just yet. It will, however, contain an SSD which will allow the system to essentially eliminate load times. The system will also support 8K gaming and backward compatibility so that all of your PS4 games should work just fine on the new console.
As far as price in concerned, Cerny claims that it "will be appealing in light of its advanced feature set".
