Dreams of cupheads & mugmen.

What. A. Weekend. First of all, Tiger Woods won the Masters - that's awesome. I've been watching him since I was a child and to see him finally win another major after everything that happened - it was really cool to see.

Aside from that, Game of Thrones finally returned for all you nerd out there and we got a whoooole bunch of Star Wars news for all you cool people with good taste. Rise of Skywalker is going to be bomb as hell, Jedi Fallen Order is a single player ass game with no microtransactions and The Mandalorian looks like my new favorite show. We all won this weekend. I don't know what we did so right to deserve all these nice things but I'm glad.

Plus Coachella, Donald Glover's Guava Island and Disney+ is only $6.99 - are you serious?!

Anyways, you can hear Casey and I talk all about this on this week's The Morning Brew which is available now on YouTube and Podcast services.

Here's some recommendations:

  • For music, you should definitely listen to the new Anderson .Paak album because it's a fun summer banger of an album and you should absolutely roll around with your windows down for the foreseeable future to let everyone know you listen to that good good. Also that 3 song EP from Kevin Abstract is what dreams are made of. For real though, Kevin and Jack Antonoff? Let's goooo.

  • And as mentioned up above, Donald Glover & Rihanna's Guava Island is a sort-of musical that's available now on Amazon Prime and it's a really fun, entertaining film especially if you're a fan of Childish Gambino.

  • And this one's a rarity because I typically only recommend a game that is currently available but Dreams is available in Early Access tomorrow on the PS4 so that's close enough! Plus, I already played the Beta so that counts. It's an amazing game that's hardly even a game but more of a creator of games. I can't wait to see what everyone does with it.

And now let's look at the week ahead:

  • Like I said, Dreams Early Access tomorrow - purchase it as soon as it becomes available because access is limited.

  • My Time At Portia looks good too - definitely give that a look.

  • That Beyonce film launches on Netflix on Wednesday which should be great - her performance last year was extremely important so to take a look at it behind the scenes will be interesting.

  • On Thursday, Cuphead comes to the Switch which I still think is mind blowing. The relationship Microsoft and Nintendo are creating is beneficial to all of us.

  • Katana Zero also looks incredible so don't let it get overlooked because of Cuphead!

  • And on Friday, as of right now, the only thing I'm looking forward to is the new Tallest Man on Earth album. I hope that changes and we get some surprise releases announced this week - we'll see!

That's it! Next week is Endgame and Days Gone so nothing else matters anyways!

No episode of The Morning Brew this week - we'll be taking a week off for Easter since I'll be out of town but we'll be back again the following week with a lot to talk about, I'm sure.
